Planning to visit Santa Fe, but just don't know what to do? Let us help you stimulate the senses and take home memories at the same time with our Santa Fe by the Book package. We've combed the stacks to put together some indispensible regional literature chosen to appeal to mind, body and soul.
Offered from October through June, this new literary Santa Fe lodging package includes the following:
* A three- (3) night stay in a relaxing accommodation designed to reflect the Santa Fe aesthetic
* Three (3) books selected with care to maximize a Santa Fe getaway and subsequently enjoy at home, including:
The Santa Fe School of Cooking Cookbook, by Susan Curtis and Nicole Curtis Ammerman, founders and owners of the Santa Fe School of Cooking (www.santafeschoolofcooking.com); Day Hikes in the Santa Fe Area by the local chapter of the Sierra Club; and Turn Left at the Sleeping Dog, a collection of tales from Santa Fe raconteurs, compiled and edited by John Pen LaFarge (son of noted Santa Fe author Oliver LaFarge). Please note that the package includes only one (1) copy of each book; friendly travel companions will need to share!
* A portable book light for each guest to prevent disturbing sleeping travel mates
* A Traveler's Journal for each guest to make notes of favorite memories
* Three (3) Inn on the Alameda bookmarks to save special places in each book
* A lavish continental breakfast and afternoon wine hour daily
Package rates range from $375-$975, depending on dates and room-type selected. Rates do not include tax and are subject to availability; no discounts (AAA, AARP, etc.) apply. The package is not available for holiday and special events. Additional persons are welcome; an extra charge of $30 nightly will apply for each extra guest, after two (2) per room.
